Gangadin

Name: Gangadin

Sex: Female

Age: Estimate 6 months

Personality: Scared of people but doesn’t run away and very gentle.

Gangadin was only 4 months old when CARE rescued her. At the time, she was living with another dog, named Balbal. Their owner was very abusive toward Balbal.

One day, the owner beat Balbal to death. During this violence, a neighbor informed CARE of what was happening. We immediately appeared on the scene and gained sufficient evidence of animal abuse. Even though Korean law does not support us, we forcibly removed the rest of the dogs from the abuser’s residence. Gangadin was among those we rescued.

As a four month old puppy, Gangadin was forced to watch Balbal slowly die from injuries. Even at a young age and full of fear, she didn’t bark or do anything out of the ordinary. Instead, she was strangely very calm. Even in the car on the way to the CARE shelter, she didn’t make any noise at all.

Gangadin has very big ears and is generally very quiet and calm.  She gets along with other dogs and loves affection.

She is waiting for a family to give her a chance at love.
