Laura was rescued in 2007. Her original owners began renovating their property and didn’t want a dog anymore. She was forced to live in a nearby mountain.

Some neighbors saw Laura and other dogs living like wild animals in the mountain. They wanted to kill the dogs and left poison in some food nearby. Luckily, word reached CARE about this malicious intent.

For a few days, CARE workers walked through the mountain trying to convince the dogs to trust them. Eventually, Laura and others were rescued and brought to the CARE shelter.

Laura was scared of people at the time of rescue but has since changed a lot.

She now has a very affectionate personality and loves to reciprocate to those who show her love.
